Vigilia di Natale, ed è festa veramente per tutti, anche per i piccoli circoli della critica statunitense.
A dare il via alle danze natalizie ci pensa il Florida Film Critics Circle, ultima associazione di stampa statunitense a svelare i propri vincitori annuali.
A dominare è stato a sorpresa l'ottimo The Lobster di Yorgos Lanthimos, già Premio della Giuria a Cannes 2015 e candidato quest'anno al Golden Globe Comedy/Musical per il sublime protagonista Colin Farrell.
Il film in lingua inglese del greco Lanthimos si porta a casa Film e Sceneggiatura Originale, mentre la Regia va all'ormai onnipresente Damien Chazelle per La La Land.
Meno interessante il quartetto degli interpreti premiati, tutti già ampiamente noti: Casey Affleck, Isabelle Huppert, Jeff Bridges e Michelle Williams.
