L'ultimissima associazione di critica statunitense a svelare i propri vincitori è la National Society of Film Critics, vero e proprio colpo di coda alla prima fase della Awards Season, in attesa della svolta (o della conferma?) questa notte con la Cerimonia di Premiazione dei Golden Globes.
A dominare è Moonlight che si porta a casa Film, Regia a Barry Jenkins, Attore Non Protagonista all'inossidabile e lanciatissimo Mahershala Alie Fotografia; grande presenza anche per Manchester By The Sea con tre riconoscimenti "pesanti" (Attore a Casey Affleck, Attrice Non Protagonista a Michelle Williams e Sceneggiatura). Ulteriore conferma per Isabelle Huppert, qui premiata per due titoli: Elle e Things To Come:
