Spaventoso, divertente e al tempo stesso romantico, è come viene definito il nuovo adattamento di It per mano del regista di La madre, Andrés Muschietti. Un remake, ma di fatto prima trasposizione per il grande schermo del romanzo di Stephen King di culto, su cui in pochi avrebbero puntato e che ha fatto storcere il naso a numerosi appassionati all'annuncio del progetto. Se manca ancora due mesi all'uscita nelle nostre sale del film, gli americani lo vedranno a inizio settembre, mentre alcuni critici hanno avuto modo di poterlo vedere in anteprima qualche ora fa.
Il film scinde il romanzo di Stephen King, estrapolando la parte del Club dei Perdenti da giovani, senza l'uso di flashback come nel romanzo. Seguiamo così le vicende di un gruppo di ragazzini di una fantomatica città chiamata Derry, alle prese con un'entità demoniaca di nome Pennywise (interpretato da Bill Skarsgard), artefice delle sparizioni di numerosi bambini.
It arriverà il 5 settembre nelle sale americane, mentre il 19 ottobre in quelle italiane.
