'Roma', il film di Cuaròn è incoronato dalla critica di Los Angeles, Toronto, San Francisco

Il film più premiato dalla stampa nordamericana dell'anno? Ora possiamo dire con certezza che sarà Roma, il film di produzione messicana scritto e diretto dal regista premio Oscar Alfonso Cuaròn, vincitore del Leone d'Oro quest'anno alla Mostra d'Arte Cinematografica di Venezia.
Il capolavoro in bianco e nero dal regista di Gravity e Y Tu Mama También è stato incoronato miglior film dell'anno dai circoli della critica di Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto e quella online di New York. Tra le interpretazioni più amate dalla critica ci sono quelle di Ethan Hawke in First Reformed - La creazione a rischio e di Regina King in Se la strada potesse parlare, due performance che stanno praticamente facendo piazza pulita dei circoli di critica regionale statunitens; la rispettiva candidatura all'Oscar è sempre più vicina.
