Writers Guild Awards, 'A Quiet Place', 'Vice' e 'Black Panther' tra i nominati

Pioggia di candidature post-Golden Globe per i sindacati dell'industria hollywoodiana; ora è il turno delle candidature della Writers Guild of America, ovvero quella dedicata agli scrittori di cinema e televisione Usa.
Suddivise nelle due sezione "Original" e "Adapted", le cinquine sono generalmente dominate da titoli in pole position per le maggiori nomination ai prossimi Oscar tra cui BlackKklansman e Se la strada potesse parlare e Black Panther (tra le adattate), mentre sorprende la presenza tra le originali di A Quiet Place - Un posto tranquillo e del piccolo film indipendente di A24 Eight Grade di Bo Burnham. Fuori dalla cinquina  la pluripremiata sceneggiatura di Deborah Davis e Tony McNamara per La favorita, semplicemente non eleggibile al premio a causa dei crediti contrattuali non presenti e per le conseguenti regole ferree del sindacato sceneggiatori.

I vincitori dei Writers Guild Awards  2018 verranno svelati in una cerimonia di premiazione simultanea a Los Angeles e New York fissata per il prossimo 17 febbraio.
