Il sindacato del montaggio cinematografico e televisivo ha annunciato i vincitori annuali degli ACE Eddie Awards , favorendo due titoli nella corsa all'Oscar per la categoria tecnica: Bohemian Rhapsody e La favorita.
I due film di Bryan Singer e Yorgos Lanthimos conquistano rispettivamente i premi al montaggio per un film drammatico e per un film commedia, mentre nel campo dell'animazione ulteriore conferma per Spider-Man: Un nuovo universo. Miglior montaggio per un documentario al candidato all'Oscar Free Solo.
