L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato le shortlist in alcune delle categorie chiave, tra cu documentario, film internazionale, colonna sonora, canzone originale, suono ed effetti visivi. Con alcune sorprese.
Nella shortlist di 15 titoli dei film internazionali selezionati è fuori gioco Titane, mentre si conferma Paolo Sorrentino, anche se la strada per la candidatura all’Oscar è ancora lunga. Nel frattempo, il documentario animato Flee entra già nella storia: è il primo lungometraggio a concorrere per tre categorie differenti: film d’animazione, documentario e film internazionale.
