Il sindacato costumisti hollywoodiani (Costume Designers Guild) ha svelato le candidature 2022 nelle categorie cinematografiche e televisive; come sempre suddivisi in tre settori (Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Contemporary, Period), i costumi che hanno trovato posto nelle cinquine sono veramente tanti.
Tra i nominati nelle rispettive categorie, Dune, House of Gucci, Crudelia, Nightmare Alley, West Side Story, ma anche Cyrano che parla un po' italiano con la nomination a Massimo Cantini Parrini e Jacqueline Durran, la seconda per il costumista fiorentino dopo quella dello scorso anno per Pinocchio. Grande esclusione per Spencer nella categoria Period.
I vincitori in ogni categoria verranno svelati in occasione di una cerimonia in presenza a Santa Monica in California il prossimo 9 marzo:
