L'associazione dei critici cinematografici della capitale britannica (London Film Critics Circle) ha annunciato i propri vincitori; a dominare con quattro menzioni Il potere del cane di Jane Campion, che si porta a casa film, regia, attore (Benedict Cumberbatch) e attore non protagonista (Kodi Smit-McPhee).
Tra gli altri interpreti celebrati, Olivia Colman per La figlia oscura di Maggie Gyllenhaal e Ruth Negga per Due donne - Passing, debutto alla regia per Rebecca Hall. Miglior film straniero e sceneggiatura dell'anno a Drive My Car. Attori britannici dell'anno Tilda Swinton e Andrew Garfield.
