La Los Angeles Film Critics Association ha svelato i vincitori dell'edizione 2022; ex-aequo per il miglior film tra il Tàr di Todd Field (che si porta a casa anche il riconoscimento alla miglior regia, all'attrice e alla sceneggiatura) e Everything Everywhere All At Once dei Daniels.
Per la prima volta nella storia di questo premio della critica, le categorie attoriali sono state ridotte a due (Lead e Supporting) e senza distinzione di genere: per queso motivo, nelle rispettive categorie, hanno trionfato Cate Blanchett per Tàr e Bill Nighy per Living in Lead, Ke Huy Quan per Everything Everywhere All At Once e Dolly De Leon per Triangle of Sadness come interpreti di supporto:
- Best Picture: EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE and TÁR (tie)
- Best Director: Todd Field (TÁR)
- Runner-up: S.S. Rajamouli (RRR)
- Best Lead Performers: Cate Blanchett (TÁR) and Bill Nighy (LIVING)
