Ultimi fuochi di critica regionale in Usa prima dei verdetti della Broadcast Film Critics Association con la cerimonia di premiazione dei 29° Critics' Choice Awards domenica 14 gennaio. A dare le ultimissime sentenze sono le associazioni della stampa di settore di Denver e delle Hawaii.

A Denver preferiscono Oppenheimer, che porta a casa menzioni per il miglior film, la regia, Cillian Murphy, mentre Barbie si porta a casa la sceneggiatura originale e Ryan Gosling. Nelle Hawaii invece la stampa di settore incensa il film-fenomeno di Greta Gerwig con i riconoscimenti al miglior film, attore non protagonista, scenografia e canzone originale.
