British Independent Film Awards, pieno di nomination per ‘Aftersun’

I 25° British Independent Film Awards si terranno il prossimio 4 dicembre, ma intanto BIFA ha svelato i nomi dei lungometraggi e delle performance che rappresentano il meglio del cinema indipendente inglese. A dominare per numero di candidature è Aftersun, esordio alla regia per Charlotte Wells con Paul Mescal e Frankie Corio, che ne ha ricevute ben 16.

A dodici nomination invece Il Prodigio, film Netflix di Sebastiàn Lelio con Florence Pugh e con nove candidature Living, remake del capolavoro di Kurosawa con Bill Nighy. Le categorie attoriali sono per la prima volta nella storia dei British Independent Film Awards genderless:
