Creative Arts Emmy 2020: ‘The Mandalorian’ e ‘Watchmen’ trionfano nelle categorie tecniche

Sono stati assegnati, nel corso di cinque diverse serate tra il 14 e il 19 settembre, tutti i trofei dei Creative Arts Emmy Awards di quest’anno. Le serate di premiazione si sono tenute virtualmente, così come la cerimonia principale, che si svolgerà questa notte. 

A trionfare nelle categorie tecniche sono state Watchmen e The Mandalorian, che hanno conquistato un totale di sette statuette a testa, mentre per quanto riguarda i network HBO e Netflix arrivano entrambi a quota 19 premi. 

Tra le serie comedy spicca La fantastica signora Maisel, vincitrice di quattro riconoscimenti. Grande trionfo per Saturday Night Live e RuPaul’s Drag Race tra i variety e i reality, con rispettivamente sei e cinque vittorie. Mentre tra le serie animate trionfa Rick e Morty, ma un premio va anche a Big Mouth e Archer, e ben tre riconoscimenti speciali vanno a Primal

Tra gli interpreti ad essere premiati figurano Eddie Murphy, Laurence Fishburne, una Cherry Jones da record e Maya Rudolph, che non solo ha conquistato il suo primo Emmy, ma ne ha vinto anche un secondo, battendo addirittura sè stessa.
