Spotlight trionfa ai Gotham Awards 2015

E finalmente possiamo parlare dei primi vincitori dell’anno.
Con l’annuncio dei vincitori dei Gotham Independent Awards (riconoscimenti al cinema indipendente statunitense organizzati dalla Film Independent Project e secondi soli agli Spirit Awards), possiamo già stabilire ufficialmente il primo, grande favorito parziale di questa annata: Spotlight di Tom McCarthy. 

Il già favoritissimo procedural movie sul mondo del giornalismo ai tempi dello scandalo pedofilia nella chiesa di Boston si porta a casa tre riconoscimenti “pesanti”: Film, Sceneggiatura e Cast dell’Anno; sorprende la presenza del piccolo film Diary of a Teenage Girl con il premio alla Attrice Bel Powley; a sorpresa il miglior attore è il meraviglioso Paul Dano per il sottovalutato biopic su l leader dei Beach Boys Brian Wilson Love and Mercy per cui ha già ricevuto una seconda Nomination agli Spirit Awards.
