Writers Guild Awards, le nomination del sindacato sceneggiatori

Svelate le candidature ai WGA Awards 2023, i premi assegnati al meglio del cinema dell’anno passato dal sindacato sceneggiatori di Hollywood (Writers Guild of America). Nonostante le rigidissime regole che comportano la selezione per la candidature degli script originali e adattati, molti titoli che l’Academy ha già scelto per le sue cinquine della sceneggiatura non sono semplicemente presenti.

Per questo motivo nella categoria della sceneggiatura originale compaiono un po’ a sopresa titoli cme The Menu e Nope, mentre nelle sceneggiature tratte da altro materiale ci sono Black Panther: Wakanda Forever e Anche io. Presenti titoli già candidati all’Oscar come Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Fabelmans, Top Gun: Maverick e Women Talking.

I vincitori dei WGA Awards 2023 veranno svelati domenica 5 amrzo, una settimana prima degli Oscar.
