Annunciata la Selezione Ufficiale del 78° Festival di Cannes, che quest’anno si terrà dal 13 al 24 maggio 2025 nella cittadina balneare francese. Tra gli autori in competizione, Richard Linklater, Ari Aster, Wes Anderson e il nostro Mario Martone.
Non mancano altri grandi autori internazionali, tra cui Julia Ducournau con il suo Alpha (dopo la controversa Palma d’Oro asseganta al body horror Titane) e Joachim Trier per l’atteso Sentimental Value, che lo riunisce per la seconda volta con l’attrice Renate Reinsve dopo il successo de La persona peggiore del mondo.
Nella sezione Un Certain Regard, in concorso Eleanor The Great, esordio alla regia di Scarlett Johansson con protagonista la veterana statunitense June Squibb.
