Annie Awards, ‘Pinocchio’ e ‘Marcel The Shell’ vincono tutto

Ai 50° Annie Awards, i maggiori riconoscimenti al cinema animato assegnati ogni anno dal sindacato professionisti dell’animazione, stravince il Pinocchio di Guillermo del Toro con ben cinque riconoscimenti, tra cui produzione dell’anno e regia.

Segue con tre premi di peso Marcel The Shell di Dean Fleischer-Camp (miglior cartoon indipendente, miglior sceneggiatura tra gli altri) e Il Gatto con gli Stivali 2: L’ultimo desiderio con due statuette. A questo punto, il film Netflix di del Toro è il favorito assoluto della categoria agli Oscar, dopo aver ricevuto anche il Golden Globe, il Bafta e il PGA per l’animazione:
