La Columbus Film Critics Association ha annunciato i vincitori per l’anno cinematografico 2020; a sorpresa, trionfa la dark comedy scritta e diretta da Emeral Fennell Una donna promettente, che si porta a cas le menzioni come miglior film, attrice protagonista a Carey Mulligan e alla sceneggiatura originale.
Tre premi anche per Nomadland, e l’ennesimo per Chloé Zhao come miglior regista dell’anno; continua la scalata dei riconoscimenti della critica per Riz Ahmed e Paul Raci per il film Amazon Sound of Metal, ancora trionfatore nelle categorie attoriali maschili:
