‘Crudelia’: le prime impressioni della critica Usa parlano di Oscar ai costumi e al trucco e acconciatura

Debutterà nelle sale italiane disponibili mercoledì 26 maggio i live-action Disney Crudelia, origin story dedicata ad una delle più celebri cattive della storia del cinema animato e non (Glenn Close lo è stata due volte nei lungometraggi in carne ed ossa del 1996 e del 2001) diretta da Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) e con i premi Oscar Emma Stone e Emma Thompson.
Le prime reaction della stampa Usa sembrano molto più positive rispetto agli ultimi live-action targati Disney, enfatizzando l’ottima fattura dei costumi, della scenografia, del trucco e acconciatura, della colonna sonora e delle performance divertite di Emma Stone e di Emma Thompson.
Lo rivedremo agli Oscar 2022 in qualche categoria tecnica?

Ridiculously entertaining, this story of my favorite Disney Villain, is a visual feast of 1970s London and high fashion. CRUELLA is spectacular fun. A bit long in the tooth at 2h 15m but loved Emmas Stone and Thompson chewing and gnashing at the scenery with glee. Gorgeously costumed by Jenny Beaven, an exciting score by Nicholas Britell and Paul Walter Hauser is absolutely hilarious. #Cruella
