IDA Awards, ai premi per i documentari vincono ‘Flee’ e ‘Summer of Soul’

Il documentario pluricandidato all’Oscar Flee di Jonas Poher Rasmussen ha trionfato agli IDA Awards (International Documentary Awards) 2021, assegnati ogni anni dalla International Documentary Association al meglio dell’anno nella categoria.

Se Flee ha vinto il premio più ambito, quello al miglior film documentario, Summer of Soul di Questlove, al suo debutto dietro la macchina da presa, ha portato a casa tre premi: regia, montaggio, documentario musicale. Entrambi i titoli sono candidati all’Oscar di categoria, mentre Flee è entrato nella storia dell’Academy per aver ottenuto tre menzioni senza precedenti per un lungometraggio: miglior documentario, film straniero e film d’animazione.
