Anche i Direttori del Casting hanno il loro Sindacato e i loro riconoscimenti annuali. Dopo le Nomination del mese scorso, la Casting Society of America è ufficialmente la prima guild ad annunciare i propri vincitori, ancora prima dei SAG o dei PGA.
A dominare nelle rispettive categorie (suddivise in Big Budget, Studio or Independent e Low Budget) sono stati i soli noti: da La La Land in Comedy a Il Diritto di Contare in Drama, fino a passare per Manchester By The Sea e Hell or High Water (quest’ultimo curiosamente premiato come “Studio or Independent Comedy”).
Se Moonlight trionfa nella sezione Low Budget, Oceania si accaparra il premio nella Animazione.
