Da pochissimo annunciate le candidature del Sindacato Attori (SAG), la prima tra le Guilds a svelare le proprie cinquine dell’anno.
E le sorprese, in positivo e in negativo, non mancano, anzi sono forse anche troppe e tutte totalmente inaspettate.
I due favoriti della vigilia partono già svantaggiati: Spotlight ottiene solo una Nomination al Cast e alla Suppoter Rachel McAdams, mentre l’altro gigante The Martian completamente assente, cosi come il quotatissimo protagonista Matt Damon. Enormi sorprese per il sottovalutato (fino ad ora) Trumbo che riceve tre Nomination pesanti (Cast, Attore e Attrice Non Protagonista) e per Helen Mirren che, oltre ad una candidatura per il film con Bryan Cranston, prende un posto nella cinquina in Lead per Woman in Gold. Altre sorprese: Sarah Silverman candidata per l’indie I Smile Back e Michael Shannon in Supporting per 99 Homes.
Grande presenza anche per The Big Short con 2 Nomination per il Cast e per il Non Protagonista Christian Bale.
