Grande vittoria per Everything Everywhere All At Once ai Producers Guild Awards 2023. Il premio del sindacato produttori di Hollywood è tra i più importanti riconoscimenti nella strada verso l’Oscar; non soltanto perché omaggia e celebra le migliori produzioni cinematografiche e televisive dell’anno, bensì perché è l’unico premio che, oltre agli Academy Awards, utilizza il sistema di voto preferenziale per stabilire il suo vincitore. Proprio come succede agli Oscar.
Per questo motivo il trionfo del film scritto e diretto da Dan Kwan e Dan Scheinert è molto significativo, e così con la doppietta della scorsa settimana del Directors Guild Award, è divenuto adesso il favorito statistico all’Oscar come miglior film.
Miglior produzione animata, secondo il sindacato, è il Pinocchio di Guillermo del Toro, mentre nel comparto televisivo grandi vittorie per The White Lotus e The Bear.
