Il sindacato produttori di Hollywood (Producers Guild of America) ha incoronato 1917 come miglior produzione dell’anno, catapultando il war movie diretto da Sam Mendes tra i titoli statisticamente più favoriti per l’Oscar al miglior film.
Dopo la vittoria insperata ai Golden Globe come film drammatico e regia, 1917 si conferma, perlomeno al momento, il film da battere ai 92° Academy Awards, forte anche delle sue sorprendenti 10 candidature.
Tra gli altri vincitori, Toy Story 4 per l’animazione, mentre nelle sezioni televisive si riconfermano grandi protagonisti Succession (HBO), Fleabag (Prime Video) e Chernobyl (HBO).
