Sundance 2017: Luca Guadagnino conquista il festival con ‘CALL ME BY YOUR NAME’

Neanche sono state annunciate le Nomination agli Oscar 2017 che dall’indie festival per eccellenza trionfa l’Italia con Chiamami con il tuo nome, quarto lungometraggio diretto da Luca Guadagnino ispirato al romanzo omonimo di André Aciman.

Ambientato sulla costiera italiana durante una torrida estate, il film racconta della storia d’amore proibita tra il giovane Elio Perlman (Timotheé Chalamet), figlio di una abbiente famiglia ebrea, e Oliver (Armie Hammer), ospite nella tenuta dei Perlman per alcuni giorni.

Le reazioni del pubblico e della stampa dopo la proiezione al Sundance Film Festival loda il lavoro di adattamento di Guadagnino e le performance dell’intero cast, specialmente quelle del giovane Chalamet e di Michael Stuhlbarg nei panni del signor Perlman.
