Organizzati annualmente dalla USC (University of South California) e dal sistema bibliotecario della università californiana, gli Scripter Awards da alcuni anni premiano e riconoscono il meglio degli adattamenti del grande e del piccolo schermo.
Suddivisi nelle due categorie cinematografiche e televisive, quest’anno le loro menzioni non presentano grandi shock o titoli clamorosamente snobbati, se non per la sceneggiatura adattata di Animali Notturni di Tom Ford. Sempre più forti in categoria titoli come Moonlight, Arrival e Barriere.
