La Biennale di Venezia ha annunciato la Selezione Ufficiale dalla 82° Mostra d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia, che si terrà al Lido dal 27 agosto al 6 settembre. Molti i titoli confermti su cui nei mesi prececenti erano state fatte ipotesi e formulate voci di corridoio.
Presenti in selezione (tra concorso per il Leone d’Oro e il Fuori Concorso) titoli già preannunciati come After the Hunt di Luca Guadagnino, Bugonia di Yorgos Lanthimos, Jay Kelly di Noah Baumbach, La Grazia di Paolo Sorrentino (film di apertura), Father Mother Sister Brother di Jim Jarmusch, Frankenstein di Guillermo del Toro e The Smashing Machine di Benny Safdie.
