La Visual Effects Society ha decretato i vincitori cinematografici e televisivi dell’anno 2024. A dominare con ben 4 statuette è Dune: Parte 2, ma il riconosicmento più importante della serata che celebra il meglio degli effetti speciali al cinema e in tv dal proprio sindacato è andato a Il regno del pianeta della scimmie.
Ottimi risultati anche per Il robot selvaggio e Better Man. In attesa del responso dei Bafta nella categoria, al momento la sfida agli Oscar 2025 per gli effetti visivi è tra il sequel di Dune e Il regno del pianeta delle scimmie.
