Annie Awards: 'Coco' trionfa con 11 statuette, 'The Breadwinner' miglior animazione indipendente

Ai 45esimi Anni Awards ha trionfato nuovamente l'animazione targata Disney/Pixar con l'imbattibile Coco, vincitore di 11 riconoscimenti sul totale di undici candidature che aveva ottenuto; una piazza pulita che ben favorisce il film diretto da Lee Unkrich e Adrian Molina agli Oscar del 4 Marzo.
Tra gli altri titoli che hanno trionfato nelle restanti categorie del più prestigioso premio del cinema animato statunitense anche The Breadwinner, incoronato miglior film d'animazione indipendente, e il cortometraggio animato Dear Basketball di Glen Keane, realizzato in collaborazione con la star del basket americano Kobe Bryant, anch'esso in odore di Oscar dopo questa importante vittoria.
