TIFF18: ‘Halloween’, ‘Climax’ e ‘In Fabric’ tra i titoli della Midnight Madness

Una selezione folle già dal suo nome, la Midnight Madness del Toronto International Film Festival 2018 svela i suoi titoli, come sempre incentrata sui più interessanti registi di genere. Ma non è la sola, anche la selezione dei documentari è stata oggi svelata, sospesa come di consueto tra presente e passato, con habitué del genere.

Nella Midnight Madness spiccano le presenze di Halloween, atteso nuovo film diretto da David Gordon Green, in anteprima mondiale, così come In Fabric di Peter Strickland, e il già applaudito Climax di Gaspar Noé, come anteprima americana. Tra i documentari sono invece interessanti le presenze di Michael Moore con Fahrenheit 11/9 e Rashida Jones in co-direzione con Alan Hicks per il documentario incentrato su Quincy Jones, dal titolo Quincy.
Il festival di svolgerà dal 6 al 16 settembre.
