GLAAD Media Awards, ‘Pose’ e ‘Tuo, Simon’ tra le nomination

Dopo l’annuncio dell’eliminazione dalle candidature del biopic dai record d’incasso Bohemian Rhapsody, la Gay and Lesbian Association Against Defamation ha annunciato le candidature per l’edizione 2019 dei GLAAD Media Awards, i premi che celebrano la cultura LGBT in tutte le sue forme multimediali.

A rimpiazzare il film di Bryan Singer nella categoria dell’Oustanding Film – Wide Release è il teen movie di successo Tuo, Simon, ma ma non mancano menzioni di altri titoli a tematica LGBT di budget minore, come La favorita, Boy Erased, La diseducazione di Cameron Post e Disobedience.

Nel comparto televisivo grande soddisfazione per Ryan Murphy e le sue tre serie firmate per FX Pose, L’assassinio di Gianni Versace – American Crime Story e American Horror Story: Apocalypse. La cerimonia di premiazione il 28 marzo al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles.
