Le nomination ai 73° DGA Awards, assegnati ogni anno dalla Directors Guild of America, il sindacato dei registi cinematografici e televisivi, sono state svelate, e i cinque registi che sono riusciti ad entrare nella cinquina del Feature Film potrebbero rappresentare i lungometraggi che sono maggiormente in pole position per l’Oscar al miglior film.

I cinque registi dell’anno designati dal sindacato sono: Emeral Fennell per Una donna promettente, Lee Isaac Chung per Minari, Chloé Zhao per Nomadland, David Fincher per Mank e Aaron Sorkin per Il processo ai Chicago 7.

Nella cinquina dei registi esordienti, anche Regina King per One Night in Miami e il francese Florian Zeller per The Father.

I vincitori verranno svelati durante una cerimonia virtuale il prossimo sabato 10 aprile.
