ACE Eddie Awards, al montaggio ‘Il processo ai Chicago 7’ batte ‘Sound of Metal’

Agli ACE Eddie Awards 2021, i premi annuali assegnati dal sindacato montatori cinematografici e televisivi (American Cinema Editors), trionfa un po’ a sorpresa Il processo ai Chicago 7, che batte il favorito della vigilia Sound of Metal, che aveva vinto il Bafta di categoria la settimana scorsa.
Oltre alla categoria Drama, anche Palm Springs batte Una donna promettente a sorpresa nella sezione Comedy, mentre nelle categorie televisive trionfi annunciati di Better Call Saul, Ozark e La regina degli scacchi.
Ora che Chicago 7 ha vinto il premio del montaggio, il montaggio sonoro con il Golden Reel Award e il SAG al miglior cast d’insieme, è diventato una seria minaccia all’Oscar al miglior film per Nomadland.
