Il 75° festival di Cannes aprirà le sue porte soltanto a partire dal prossimo 17 maggio fino al 28 dello stesso mese, ed oggi è stata annunciata in conferenza stampa la lineup ufficiale nelle sezioni principali. Un’edizione, quella del 2022, ricca di titoli internazionali dove non manca la presenza dell’Italia.
Ad aprire la kermesse, Fuori Concorso, sarà la Francia con la commedia zombie Z diretta dal premio Oscar Michel Hazanavicius, che si unisce a titoli molto attesi già parzialmente annunciati come ad esempio Elvis di Baz Luhrmann, Top Gun: Maverick di Joseph Kosinski e Three Thousand Years of Longing di George Miller.
In concorso per la Palma d’Oro ci sono, tra gli altri, David Cronenberg per Crimes of The Future, Claire Denis con The Stars at Noon, Mario Martone con Nostalgia, James Gray con Armageddon Time e l’atteso debutto coreano del giapponese Kore-eda con Broker.
Tra le proiezioni speciali, anche Esterno Notte, serie tv di Marco Bellocchio sul rapimento di Aldo Moro.
