Ai Golden Globe 2024, prima grande cerimonia di premiazione della stagione dei premi, trionfo assoluto per Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan. Il blockbuster campione d’incassi si porta a casa 5 statuette: film drama, attore drama (Cillian Murphy), attore non protagonista (Robert Downey Jr.), regia e colonna sonora.

Sconfitto in parte Barbie, che si accontenta di due trofei consolatori, miglior canzone originale e il nuovissimo premio per il Box Office Achievement. Incoronazione a sorpresa per Povere Creature, che non solo si accaparra il riconoscimento per Emma Stone miglior attrice, ma anche quello per il miglior film comedy/musical. Per The Holdovers, premiati anche Paul Giamatti e Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
