‘ARRIVAL’ e ‘LA LA LAND’ fanno il pieno di Nomination agli IFMCA Awards 2017

La International Film Music Critics Association ha svelato le cinquine annuali dedicate al meglio della musica da film, serie tv e videogame del 2016.
Composta da centinaia di critici professionisti nel campo della composizione musicale per immagini provenienti da tutto il mondo, la IFMCA rivelerà i propri vincitori il prossimo 23 Febbraio 2017.

A dominare le candidature è Arrival con cinque menzioni, seguito da La La Land con altrettante candidature musicali; in termini di compositori singoli, a trionfare sono Justin Hurwitz per la sue partiture jazz e per le canzoni scritte e musicate per il musical di Damien Chazelle, e Michael Giacchino, candidato in svariate categorie per i suoi lavori nei blockbuster Doctor Strange e Star Trek Beyond. 
Ottima presenza anche per l’eccellente compositore polacco Abel Korzeniowski con 4 Nomination individuali, tre per Animali Notturni (snobbato dall’Academy) e una per la serie tv Penny Dreadful:
