British Independent Film Awards: 11 nomination a ‘The Personal History of David Copperfield’, c’è anche Renée Zellweger

Sono state annunciate le candidature per l’anno cinematografico 2019 dei British Independent Film Awards, i maggiori riconoscimenti del cinema britannico low-budget. A dominare le cinquine delle candidature The Personal History of David Copperfield di Armando Iannucci, con ben 11 menzioni.

L’adattamento dal romanzo di Charles Dickens con protagonista Dev Patel è seguito dalla presenza di titoli come Wild Rose con la star nascente del grande schermo Jessie Buckley, candidata come miglior attrice; ma dovrà vedersela con un’agguerrita Renée Zellweger nel biopic di Rupert Goold Judy, per il quale l’attrice statunitense si gioca una quarta nomination all’Oscar.
