Il sindacato truccatori e acconciatori di Hollywood (Makeup and Hairstylist Guild Awards) ha annunciati i vincitori cinematografici e televisivi per l’anno 2019; a vincere tre premi, il maggior numero dell’edizione, è Bombshell – La voce dello scandalo.

Il film di Jay Roach con Charlize Theron, Margot Robbie e Nicole Kidman parte così avvantaggiato per l’Oscar al miglior trucco, qualora ottenesse l’attesa candidatura; seguono nelle sezioni cinematografiche Joker e Downton Abbey.

Nelle sezioni televisive grandi risultati per  Big Little Lies e Fosse/Verdon, anche se non manca la miniserie evento Chernobyl.
