La International Film Music Critics Association ha rivelato le candidature annuali degli IMFCA Awards, i riconoscimenti alle migliori composizioni originali per film dell’anno; se il compositore James Newton Howard possiede il maggior numero di candidature personali (ben quattro), a farla da padrone tra i titoli ci sono First Man – Il primo uomo e Il ritorno di Mary Poppins.
Tre nomination per la colonna sonora originale del film di Damien Chazelle composta dal premio Oscar Justin Hurwitz, vincitrice del Golden Globe e del Critics’ Choice Award ma snobbata agli Academy Awards.
I vincitori degli annuali IMFCA Awards verranno svelati in una cerimonia che si terrà il prossimo 21 febbraio a Los Angeles:
