A mani vuote tuttavia le due protagoniste candidate, Zoe Saldana e Karla Sofìa Gascòn. Miglior film internazionale è stato incoronato La zona d’interesse di Jonathan Glazer, miglior film d’animazione il lettone Flow – Un mondo da salvare, candidato quest’anno a due Oscar.
