La Society of Composers and Lyricists ha svelato le candidature al meglio delle colonne sonore e delle canzoni originali del 2025. Ad ottenere il mggior numero di nomination sono stati due film.
Il primo è I Peccatori di Ryan Coogler (miglior colonna sonora per un film ad alto budget, e due menzioni per le canzoni “I Lied To You” e “Last Time I See The Sun”), ex-aequo con Wicked: Parte 2, con lo stesso bottino.
