La Television Critics Association ha annunciato le candidature per il piccolo schermo per l’anno 2018-2019; se la cerimonia di premiazione dei prestigiosi premi della critica televisiva statunitense avverrà soltanto sabato 3 agosto a Beverly Hills, già si possono fare dei bilanci basandoci sulle candidature.
A dominare con il maggior numero di menzioni sono rispettivamente Pose targato FX e Russian Doll di Netflix, entrambi con quattro candidature ciascuno; seguono la commedia Amazon Fleabag e la acclamata miniserie Netflix When They See Us. In totale, è HBO però a detenere il maggior numero di candidature (15), contro le 14 di Netflix e le 8 di FX.
